Don't understand away kits these days. It used to be if the colours didn't clash we'd just play in our home kit. If they did we used the away kit. Simple. Now there's some odd games where our kit doesn't clash but we play in all blue strip for some reason. Then there's others where our kit doesn't clash but we play in the away kit instead of our home kit. Then we have the bizarre scenarios where the away kit (like this one) will probably clash with any kit the home one would so we wear a third kit. Bonkers.
I hate seeing Everton in all blue at home (we normally seem to play rubbish in it why can't the opposition change?) and I hate seeing us playing in away or third kit if we could just wear the home strip.
Should just predominately be the one home kit with throws few games a season you need a distinct away kit because you're playing someone in blue.

Same at the euros. Wales vs Portugal, both in away kits. it's just to sell as many shirts as possible, but it sure does look weird sometimes. imagine if we decided to wear the away kit an anfield for example!

We wore our green kit at Southampton last season without any obvious reason other than marketing
The one I've never understood is when we go to Arsenal we wear our blue shorts as Arsenal wear white shorts, but when Arsenal come to Goodison they generally just wear their white shorts regardless of us being in white shorts. I say generally cos I think they wore their full away kit last season

Yeah there's no logic to it, especially as Southampton wore black shorts as well with their red and white tops so we went for our third kit that had black shorts.....Could have just worn out home colours without any clash.

Suspect it might be some form of light grey, looking at the videos of this morning's training.

Just watched this mornings training videos and good shout on the light grey. That looks like it could be a solid kit, even though I'd still prefer orange.

would be a great kit, but the diagonal stripes are a coin toss. that looks good... Spurs looked like they were run over by a smart car last year.
