New Manager till end of season

I don't think it's as bad as that.

We have some good players, yes some right horrors that need to go but we have a core of a decent team there but we just need a decent manager to get the best out of them.
I fail to see this core of good players to be honest.

Honestly we will have to tough it out with BFS then sack him on the eve of the last game of the season.

Mind you with a squad full of spineless jokers masquerading as footballers I’m beginning to wonder who can turn tthis around.

We have worse teams talent wise than this but at least those teams had bottle, this lot don’t seem to have anything about them.

Assuming we don't literally lose every one of the last 9 games (which we won't) we're safe.

Allardyce is here til the end of the season whatever happens. Needs to be gone as soon as the final whistle blows of the last game.

If we are waiting for fonseca who should we get in till end of season?

Back to Unsworth? Is that too risky or are we already safe? Anyone else??

Fetching Unsie in is no more dangerous than keeping Sam IMO.

Bin Sam right now and give Unsie a whole week to prepare for the Brighton game.

We need these three points badly and that will be enough, I am sure.

But the Old Lady is going to be toxic next week if Allardyce is still here.

The fans need the kind of boost only the firing of a failing and hated manager brings.

Our defence is diabolical and full of diabolical defenders. Our midfield is crap and full of crap midfielders. And our strikeforce is poor and full of poor strikers. The whole squad is crap and deserves to be in the bottom half of the table.

Sacking him would be pointless. We'd still lose and we'd still lose badly with this side. Three managers already this season and the players still get away without taking the blame. By all means sack BFS, I'll lose no sleep over it but we'll still be utter grabage with or without him. We could have a team of the greatest manages to ever walk the earth working as a single unit with these players and they'd still be crap because they're gutless mercenarys to a man.

Wouldn't be surprised if the reason Unsworth turned down the Oxford job was because he had an inkling that this situation would happen and he may get another shot at it

Someone posted something like that last week....though he said Unsie to be appointed permanently.

Which IMO is not even a remote possibility.

But bringing him in again to see the season out sounds more plausible.
