New manager

There is my question always why Jose manages to have 2 good seasons at almost any clubs and wins trophies, well Spurs excluded not even Jesus can win trophies there.

But then the third year there is a big decline, that was almost at all of his last stations since Madrid.

It'd be interesting should a club ever back him through that third year dip actually.

Maybe he starts rubbing people up the wrong way - maybe he recruits or picks players for the short term success so it's not sustainable beyond the initial period. Maybe he starts getting bored and self sabotages to get the next move without even realising he's doing that

Or we'll take Jose for 2 years, and then get another one to build up on.
Exactly.

I mean, Jose isn't a young man anymore. He won't be here forever no matter how well it would go. Succession planning would be informed by the knowledge that hiring him buys only a short period of time to prepare for the next man. But he would bring a lot in terms of profile to the club - and the club needs it. Even some of our own fans think we're smaller than West Ham...

Yes yes yes, we're all aware how successful he's been in the PAST....

Talk to us about his last 3-4 clubs however.

SHOCKING.
Last 4 clubs.

Man utd: League cup winner, Community shield winner, Europa league winner
Spurs: may have won FA cup is they didn't sack him a few days before.
Roma: Conference League winner
Fenerbahce: Currently second in the league.

Has a win % of 58, 51, 49 & 59 in those last 4 clubs also.

I mean, he'd do for me!

Sean Dyche
1 x Championship
2 x Relegation

Jose Mourinho
4 x Worlds Best Coach
2 x Champions League
3 x Premier Leagues
2 x Serie A
1 x La Liga
1 x Europa League
1 x UEFA Cup
1 x Europe Conference League
1 x FA Cup
1 x Spanish Cup
1 x Italian Cup
4 x English League Cup
2 x Community Shields
1 x Spanish Super Cup Winner

Yet some actually believe we will be worse off.. these people have a special way of thinking!

Mourinho is defo a manager that will speak up for his club and he would never accept the horrendous refereeing decisions we have had to endure in recent years!

Maybe it's his character that makes him hateable and lovable at the same time.

If Mourinho is a manager who wins trophies and then bounces after a couple of years, then he should come nowhere near Everton because there's not a squad here that's capable of winning trophies in the next couple of years.

We need a long-term squad to be built and someone with a recent track record of doing that.

In all seriousness, this is not the droid we're looking for people, it's just blues having their ego's massaged by seeing a hollywood star in the dugout.
He could win the fa cup

Currently we are, but long-term we should be above West Ham.
