New manager

It hurts losing out of Conceicao just by a few days even more.

I wonder whether West Ham would have gone after him instead of Potter.
But for all we know they could have talked to him (Conceicao) and gotten turned down, hence not sacking Dyche earlier - because they've been waiting to get a yes from someone. Would you take us over AC Milan right now?

We don't know who they've been talking to behind the scenes or what they've been lining up. By no means is this directed at you, but so much of the angst around here the last few days has been people working themselves into a tizzy over scenarios they've made up in their own heads ("they're not doing anything" etc.).

Balls on the table

Moyes took over West Ham in a relegation fight and finished 6th, 7th, 9th in 3 of his 4 full seasons.

To suggest that he spends much time in the bottom half of the league and act like he's a relegation scrapper like Dyche is an opinion not backed up back facts, people proving they don't know football.

If you don't want Moyes cause you don't like him or don't like his football i get that but there's no factual evidence it's more of the same as Dyche, Moyes finishes in the top half of the league basically 4 out of 5 seasons over nearly 2 decades.

Go and look at the West Ham squad Moyes inherited compare to the one he just left, night and day.

Nope Milan for sure, but it was my favourite club outside of Spain growing up with the Dutch heroes, but Fonseca is a strong indication.

Yeah, Conceicao would have been high on my list. Unfortunately, sometimes many forget that it takes a yes from both sides to get a manager in. The owners can't just magically snap their fingers and command their choice to come.

Moves is a great manager.

People forget that he had us playing some good football with ballers like Arteta, Pienaar, Mirallas, Baines and others.

I'd be well up for Moyes again personally

It's whether he's got another big job in him. Short term, more so.

He'll be 62 in April, not that old, but it was 23 years ago he took over Everton initially. There was only a 16 year gap between Howard taking over for the first time and then the 3rd time.
