New manager

I know - only ribbing. ;)

I'm just not sure we can put Potter in the same class as a Champions League winner like Tuchel whose career has largely been conducted on a different level.

Of course, he is an interesting manager. I have big doubts about him, but I can be cynical. I'm genuinely fascinated to see how he gets on in his next job.

Think I'm at the stage I just want a manager who will think about a long term plan how to play rather than seasons after season of let's get 36 points

Even if the new manager comes in and plays it the same way as Dyche, performances would be vastly improved. He’s floundering now, it’s obvious from his press conferences, and if he shows no conviction in what he tells the players they won’t show it either.

Right now we need a spark that burns very brightly, no matter if that means the light is brief, it will be enough to galvanise players and fans. Mourinho guarantees safety with no signings needed, in my opinion.

People wanting Moyes have short memories. You don’t forgive the manner of his leaving and what he said afterwards. Remember him getting that applause when he stepped out for the final time. Embarrassing

Totally agree but it was 10 years ago and Premier League status comes first.

I would be way more embarssed being in the Championship.

i think chelsea was a step to far especially with how they were being run like us under moshiri. i think with less expectation and less of a budget etc he could excell like he did at brighton.

that being said was talking to my dad about this the other week wouldn’t mind having moyes till season end and make him director of football once it’s finished as his eye for a player trumps most i would say

moyes said he doesn’t want a relegation fight job

I’ve been banging the drum for Basset for years and feel I’ve been vindicated with all the dross we’ve had. Basset would do a great job for us, mark my words.
