I know he says he doesn’t want another relegation battle, but what are his realistic options?
The ‘top 6’ clubs plus Newcastle, Villa and West Ham wouldn’t have him, and if any of the other 11 are comfortable in mid table then they wouldn’t be sacking their manager.

You make a good point.

Folks posting lists of unemployed managers. It’s hard to come up with a good reason why TFG would not have moved already if one of these names was the one that they wanted. Therefore is it not more likely that they actually want someone currently employed elsewhere?

Or else they’re just clueless bluffers like the last ownership, but let’s give them the benefit of the doubt for now.
