New manager

Not really. He had, what, six months on his contract? The club had failed time and again to support him due to financial constraints. Who wouldn't take the opportunity to manage one of the biggest teams in Europe? Carlo gets less stick for it than Moyes but was far more disloyal. Moyes gave many of the best years of his career to Everton and turned down many approaches during that time.
OK mate . As I have previously said you see absolutely no wrong at all with him and would defend him regardless.
More of us are more rational and can see the flaws also .
He won't be back anyway I'd be fairly sure

I don't blame Moyes for that. I blame Kenwright, who should have sacked him on the spot. But he didn't because he was a compromised man who preferred to roll out his usual "spurned wife" routine when Sky were chasing Moyes through the streets of London having said his goodbyes to jilted Blue Bill.

Lee Carsley 20/1 with Bet Victor
Max Allegri 8/1

They’ve unsurprisingly got Moyes 5/1 favourite.

For some bizarre reason Russell Martin is 16/1 🤷🏻‍♂️ and David Wagner 12/1.

Mourinho 25/1
Think that that is a true reflection of we and the press haven’t a scooby do on who’s the next man in. Only certainty I personally have is that Dyche is on his way out! TFG are obviously an unknown quantity when it comes to The EPL but guess we’ll know soon enough, next week perhaps?

Moyes = they dont want to take risks.
Carsley = they llike to take risks but maybe a bit naive.
Allegri = A statement...but maybe made at the wrong time in a relegation battle.

Come on lids, we all know who we’re getting. Can’t you read between the lines?

Put all you money in Eddie Howe.
His contract is up in the Summer and Newcastle want a big name to push them on.

We have Dyche until then.

Bookmark me Bro, I’m Mystic Smeg.

A three to five year stint to lay foundations then a move to DOF or something like that seems pretty reasonable. It's not like managers tend to stay at a club longer than three years nowadays. Heck, the average in the Premier League is probably a couple at best.
We need modern, cutting edge thought behind recruitment. Things change.

First time around, Kendall's transfer acumen was outstanding. It was terrible in his second two stints.

Moyes' recruitment was generally very good between 2002 and 2012 (apart from strikers) - not been all that since. We need modern thoughts - not being instructed by a man who'll be in his late 60s at the time!

I could understand that if Moyes was coming from a period out of the game, but he was managing in the league last season. Made the quarters of the Europa as well. The guy is on committees for UEFA and the League Managers Association. It's not like he's coming in from a spell in Saudi or Eastern Europe.
