I heard we upped the offer with an Everton pen, lanyard, scarf, and beard trimming kit. Honestly, how could he turn that down?

I believe Everton have now become a very good opportunity for anyone to take on. Whether that be a new upcoming manager or one with plenty of experience. Firstly the prestige of the club then the stadium now new owners with plenty of cash which will take a while to be filtered through. In the same city as that other club. Even worst case that we go down we now have an owner who will be able to get us back up. If we had gone down last year say then the ground and new ownership would have been in doubt.
