Personally, on moral grounds I have no gripe with us being sponsored by a betting company. Each to their own like.

But what I don’t like is the fact that this flies in the face of DBB’s comments when we dropped SportsPesa, the Stake logo will probably look naff if Watford’s kit is anything to go by, and once again my kids’ shirt will likely look like some kind of market knock-off, as I’m assuming they will have no sponsor (unless we stick EitC or similar on the front, as someone suggested earlier).

With all respect, the "people's club" moniker is embarrassing. Players are paid extortionate amounts of money and we have ties to an oligarch. Being associated with gambling is just another symptom of the modern game. The fans still lap it up, so can't really complain.

I agree. Sadly its not going away. People have to be strong now and act for themselves. Self exclude from sites. Most bank aswell have the option to block card transactions with gambling sites.
Hear some horror stories around this industry. Its vile. But to much money involved for anything to be done. I thought it went through parliament last year that shirt sponsorship with gambling on was to be ended by 2023. Clearly that never happened. Esp with this shower in charge. Brown envelopes galore no doubt.
