A cryptogambling site based in an off-shore tax haven paying us in imaginary money.

I'm looking forward to our next sponsor, a Russian Ponzi scheme I would imagine. What odds do you reckon I could get from Stake on that? Oh wait, that's right I can't bet with Stake in the UK without a VPN.

I don’t actually think they still operate In Europe any more full stop.

Personally all betting companies are awful, but these two both seem to be particularly bad.

With SportPesa, I think Everton took the easier, “moral high-ground” approach, which has evidently came back to bite us on the backside, yet again.

I assume they are thinking short term here and hoping the Government will ban gambling advertisement to take the option out of our hands.

Stopped reading that after “Norwich we’re only side who did not have a gambling sponsor”.

When literally they took up a sponsor with a gambling firm where their side had naked models on the home page and a soft porn instagram.

We’re the easy target at the moment, fair enough, and it probably isn’t helped by some teams deviating from Gambling now, but won’t be shocked to see the 3 promoted teams have them.

Some idiot journos will know doubt be opening up a bottle of wine this evening after work whilst having the audacity to moan about gambling.

Nation of hypocrites we are - no more so than a Government sanctioning Uncle Uz whilst pressuring the PL to push through a takeover by Saudi Murderers.
 
I could go each way on this issue. We were always odds-on to get criticism though. I don’t think it will last furlong at the end of the day.
