New Stadium

Also, Wyness is going on about the non-debt stadium. So hopefully no hike in prices to pay for the stadium. If true then its truly a masterstroke.

Then I would expect some kind of investment, certainly be more attractive.

Yes thats what makes this venture so desirable we need to be able to expand at relatively little cost. 55k is a good starting point. But if we get on a roll winning consistantly and the pricing is animicable we could warrant a extra 10k or so seating which would be all win win for the club and fan alike.

we should get on there case and demand a school of science walk with statues of all the past greats dean, ball, labone, lawton, young, mercer ect.......

now that would be class to walk down and see all the greats before a game.IN MY EYES

or somthing like that just to remember the old goodison day and are history. i now we wont forget but after a few decades in the new place then goodison might get forgoten. dunno just a thought!

Make us more marketable for sure in the eyes of investors. Our bottom line should be improved almost imediately when this goes into reality in 2010. Again I know there is something I'm missing. What is it?

I cant wait to see the pictures of the new stadium...As long as it looks like most german stadiums ill be happy...Any chance kenwright and wyness might splash the cash out on a video-cube??...would be great...

However...the stadiums goin to be 75million, now an average stadium costs about 200 million, and great ones cost 300-400million, so why is this so cheap? is it just great business or are we just building a cheap, crappy stadium?

Wonder if some of the cost is because the property its on is not worth a lot at this time. Also, I think the firm that Tesco is incorporating is a Scottish one they use on many projects so I believe they get a substantial price reduction there. One thing to consider the main number thrown out is just a projection at the moment not concrete. Cost overuns could hurt the eventual price that we may have the bear.

no that doesnt happen does it. never seen a ground cost over double the origanal price:P :P :P :P

still at least england have a home now. and what a home it is.

In relation to the cost.

Cahill cost roughly a quarter of the price of Boumsong yet his quality is far acer.

Cost doesnt guarantee quality.

Thats absolutely true what in a number anyway. Two people agree on a figure and then bobs your uncle done deal.

Your analogies are cutting edge.(y)

Theres filth out there lower than rat sputum that have on occasion lashed red paint all over dixie.

when we get a new stadium i would like a 'ball end' then when the other two catch up, it becomes the 'trinity end', and i demand their three statues at that end up high on the side of the stadium.
