Stopped reading right there, as if 10 minutes against the European champions in a badly shaped side is a "chance" then... *shrug*

It's as much as Gueye has been given, or Vellios. Both of them have had to spend time out of the match day squad, why are people not complaining about their confidence being destroyed ?

If he can't handle not being on the bench then i fail to see how he's going to have the mental strength to cope with the longer appearances some on here are calling for.

Nobody.

It could be tho? Or his head might not be right after the "abuse", Or he could have a cold.

Fairly sure he hasnt been "dropped" for no reason at all, we dont know the reason, just laughing at Tubey saying he should ask for a transfer really.

If I was him, I would. I'd drop down a division and play for a manager who actually values him, rather than one who repeatedly drops me completely from match day squads for little to no reason.

"Alright lad, you're dropped, cement legs over there is taking your place on the bench, now get home."

No mate.

Gueye runs like he's running underwater.

And Hitz, well, I'll be surprised if he is still here by the end of this month.

I don't agree, Gueye has done alright when he has come in. Had a very good performance against Sunderland.

Hitz has come in, done a decent job, kept things ticking in centre, not made any mistakes.

So yes, that gives the manager faith that they can be called upon.

Giving the ball away by overcomplicating things like Barkley did is likely to make the manager trust you less. Although I agree it was the wrong match to introduce him. And when confident, Barkley has shown that he can be a class above the other two.

And you are assuming that Moyes has ****ed up regarding Barkley based on what? You don't even truely know the reasons he's missing tonight anyway

On the whole gueye has been shocking mate but i agree about hitz he should have been in tonight.

shame for barkley and even more of a shame for anichebe he's played well last few games, back to pump the ball to fellaini's chest and head football tonight then

Nope - Gueye has played over 20 games for Everton, including quite a few starts, and played well once.

Vellios' got treated shoddily as well the other season when he was dropped completely when he was our leading scorer at the time.

The difference between those two and Barkley is that I don't think Gueye or Vellios are potential super-talents - you don't see Raheem Sterling completely f*cked off at Liverpool after a bad game, and he's coming along leaps and bounds. I'm not calling for Barkley to start every game, but to be jibbed out of the squad completely is shocking management from a manager who has proven time and time again he has no clue in regards to youth players. It's a complete and utter myth that Everton are good for youngsters.

Your assuming that I'm assuming.

I knew he was dropped for this squad within an hour after the Chelsea game.
