I have to say that with most teams who are relegated, I have always had the attitude of "but for the grace of god" because of our dour past. Newcastle are completly different.

I prayed to high heaven that the god of football at last dispensed some justice of this joke of a team, who are bigger than us (according to Keegan) because they have a bigger stadia and more fans.

I think that those players who are desperate not to be sold (well, I wouldn't if it meant keeping my £50k per week), will find that Div 2 is a hard cruel person.

I don't see them coming straight back up should that be, I really don't want to see them come straight back up.

Horrible team, deluded fans.

tbh, the skunks have spent plenty of seasons outside the top flight over the years, so these fixtures are probably less of a culture shock to them than they would be for us.
