Holgate is so lackadaisical it's unreal...Mina is good but way too injury prone and not up for a relegation battle......Keane is not so good but cracks on.....it's quite sad that he's our most capable centre half at the moment..
That's our main problem....if we don't sort the defence out we are going down!

Ok that was a very poor display, the two early injuries didn't help and as I was saying to someone on here yesterday Gomes just can't play when he is put under pressure, he just needs too much space and time. On the plus side, I think VDB will be a good signing for us, his coolness on the ball may just make enough difference to us that we manage to scrape enough points together to stay up.

I agree with the VDB comment, just a shame he's not ours. We actually own all those other sh*tehawks.

There's still some green shoots there for me - we were still trying to play through the lines and positively for the majority of the game. It's going to take some time before this way of playing is second nature - we've been playing hoofball for a while.

Vdb looked decent and will get better as will Alli. I thought branthwaite grew into the game as well - he's ahead of holgate.

Patterson needs to start now - Coleman is done.

The injuries completely ruined the gameplan, and I thought the referee had an absolute shocker and let them away with absolute murder which stopped any momentum we tried to get going.

I worry about the new injuries - we can't afford Mina and Gray to be out for any length of time, with Keane and holgate at the back.

Let's give the manager and his back room team a chance before we turn on them tho eh - they've got a hell of a job on they're hands.

By not losing your nut every second of the day? By getting as much of your mind off the club as possible? Know what would help us do better?

No spooning the ball into the stands every time we get in a crossing position.

The amount of times we do that is shocking, they are professional footballers! How can they get a cross so wrong?

Reality check for Lampard as again our "leaders" all go hiding :-( Naive and careless mistakes you scream at a 8 year if they did it and these players are paid and "professional'! Patterson needs to play as if he makes an error, you could accept his a kid learning his trade and its gone to point once I see Coleman s name on teamsheet i m expecting a loss :-(

Only positives were younger lads, Gordon and Branthwaite, trying to do stuff and DVB and Ali trying and Ali being a snide to Joelington ! A team that folds under any pressure, gets out fought to easy not a good sign for a relegation fight.
