Heitinga, about a million times better on the ball, more confortable and has a much better range of passing.

Or

Rodwell with Arteta and play Bily on the wing.

If that happened you'd get people moaning that Heitinga pulls out of tackles and makes bad passes and that Bily is too lightweight and will get bullied completly by Newcastle. And Rodwell still has a long way to go before he is a good defensive shield at dm.

Neville at the moment is our best fit defensive midfielder who will protect the defence and stop them playing through us too easy.

I think a lot of people would disagree with that mate, Heitinga is head and shoulders above Nev.

Does nobody remember how terrifyingly gash Heit was in midfield earlier this season?

I'd rather a young vietnamese girl played there ahead of him to be honest.

True but, I was hoping the whole Cashley thing had rejuvenated him. Plus Nev's been fairly crap the past few months... I just don't think anyone's realised because his pointing and shouting is still at the top of its game.

Osman and Rodwell on the wings is a bit of a shocker, not to mention Nev in centre-mid. At least we are playing with two up top but i'm worried that they won't get enough supply.

We'e hoping tets is on the right.

We do have an appalling lack of width, anyway. Coleman is the only wide midfielder we have, and even then, he's a defender by trade and he is fond of cutting in.

I doubt it mate. It's been a few years, if my memory serves me correct, since Arteta's played on the right. I wouldn't mind a 4-3-1-2 though with Rodwell in an advanced position.

This is in a nutshell. Bily is short of confidence at the best of times- this is another game which could easily pass him by if its played at the pace I expect it to be. I really though Tony would have played Tuesday instead of Phil, but Neville in the middle today makes sense- nice short balls to Arteta or Rodwell and keeping a pretty stable position in front of the back 4. Nothings been said by Moyes but Johnny had a mild rant at being left out of the side against Chelsea- nowt wrong with that as you want to see desire from players but maybe a bit of handbags behind closed doors seeing as though he didn't merit even a subs appearance against Reading.

Good lineup in my opinion, pretty much what I was thinking.

I'd imagine it'll be Osman Neville Arteta with Rodwell roaming around in front. Hope so anyway.
