This has made me very angry and I'm gonna sue the people who people who ripped me off by stretching out my buying of my little house.

Well pretty much yes. I suspect the quality of brokers they have is a bit higher than the average estate agents!

The broker should have done minimal due diligence on the company + have an NDA and fee agreement with Ashley.

When the buyers are approached they sign an NDA also and after initial discussions usually sign an MOU based upon an agreed price + terms + process to move forward pending 3rd party due diligence.

Usually even after due diligence showing everything is fine there would be more negotiating on price.

If both sides are penny pinching ive seen this take months and months...

If one side is penny pinching max ive seen is 6 weeks ish. Otherwise the other party tells them to jog on.

Thing is, with the virus situation the legals could be delayed with offices closed...

But its quite clear both sides are penny pinching as its been too many months to count now.
