Yes could be. I see two possibility. 1) It's a distant relative of Bin Salman involved and he simply can't get the thumbs up for any extra money to be put in. 2) Staveley knows a broker who knows someone in the family, who may well be a complete blagger and show time isn't going well for them.

Well possibly. If you have agreed a sale though, and put the sale through at the existing price it would be very odd to move on the terms. In fairness to Ashley he's been fairly consistent on the asking price thus far, and they have spent over a year trying to get him to reduce. While you may think the price is too high (I probably do) he has been consistent.

He gets a lot of stick mike Ashley but he sounds like a really good lad. Sleeping under tables at meetings and spewing in fireplaces. You’d think the geordies would welcome him as one of their own. Surely the fact we're in the midst of a global health and financial crisis, with no idea of what's going to happen in football over the next year or two, and you yourself have made grave predictions about football's finance levels in virtually every thread over the last few weeks, might be affecting it a bit? I mean, your possibilities sound great to me, but I can't help feeling you're missing a slightly more obvious one.
