Newcastle Utd (and Viz)

Anyone for Roy Keane?
He jacked it in at Forest yesterday...

A good bet to be United's next manager after Ole gets sacked around Christmas time.

Beat me to it. lol
Mind you, I wouldn't put him in charge of any team. He seems to have serious issues with people management.

His record at Sunderland, where the players celebrated when he left, and Ipswich is not exactly glowing.

Ireland were brutal under O Neill and him.

Makes you realise how lucky we were getting Bill to take over from Peter Johnson, we easily could of ended up with a Mike Ashley type.
Just like Bill could of sold us to a Mike Ashley but he held out for someone decent.
We got lucky when you look at other similar size clubs, not just Newcastle but Villa West Ham, Leeds, Sunderland...etc

They also sell the most expensive home shirt in the Premier league

£65

Fun fact that their shirt is the cheapest in the league at £25 a pop. But instead of scanning the tag shop assistants accidentally scan the shirt which actually corresponds to a vintage bottle of Moët & Chandon that comes to £65.

The fans up there don't mind though, they always wanted champagne football.

The early pages of this thread are what I’m on about, when you were dropping your arse about Newcastle becoming the next Man City.

So if news broke that Everton were in talks with the worlds richest family about a takeover you think

A. Our fans wouldn't be delirious

And

B. Kopites / clubs around us heads wouldn't have fell off?

Stop chatting wham anyone with sense should be concerned if a club in this league gets that sort of investment as you seen what it did for Man City.

Lets hope this news means any potential takeover by filthy rich arabs is OFF.

It was never on in the first place.
