Newcastle Utd (and Viz)

MUst be into month 5 since the takeover was allegedly agreed. Are any of the Goerdies able to decipher the wood from the trees yet. That the buyers don't have loads of money, and would probably be worse than Ashley even if it went through? Or are they still deluding themselves they are going to get a takeover with as much investmnt as us, City and Chelsea?

Ashley has been great for them, he's given them two promotions and smashed their record transfer, they hate him, but i think they'd really struggle without him. They're never going to be much more than lower league prem, so not entirely sure what they're moaning about. Got a good manager in Steve bruce too, better than benitez getting them relegated on mega bucks anyway.

I would like the geordie voice over guy from big brother to give us daily updates of this takeover though.

"day 128 in the Newcattle takeover. Gregg is excited after reading olivier Bernard's step daugh'er saying t'u takeover is appnin on twi'er."

So let me get this right.

The Geordies who’ve been crapping on about being the richest club in the world, the new PSG, a Saudi plaything, billions and billions etc etc etc ad infinitum.

Are now crying their eyes out as the PL don’t believe that the Investment fund who are supposedly going to be the new main shareholder who usually just trade in equity stakes, aren’t in reality going to be calling the shots, and it’ll in fact be the Chair of PIF - Bin Salman and the House of Saud.

Anyone spot their problem here?

Would the assassination of Jamal Khashoggi be one of those problems

That jawdees are bellends?

Humour you Steve? Im crying at the thought you think anybody outside of the jawdee nashun and Greggs boardroom give a shiny one about you bloaters

Ummm....

I have no words. Am I right in thinking he thinks all Newcastle fans will decline their sky and bt subscriptions cause Newcastle didn’t get bought?

Then also thinks everyone else will too? If anything I’d give Sky double

we have reached PEAK Headpatting with this one

Stop trying to divert the thread please. I seen you vanquish the headpatterers. The culmination of a lifetime’s work. Truly INCREDIBLE. I understand, however, that you must feel empty now. You must find a new war. That war is not here. Here we make jokes about the physical abuse of horses, vast Greggs consumption and grown men with tattoos of magpies on their tits.

Such a panto club, can't blame the FA really on this one. Something goes wrong then they need to know who takes responsibility. In Newcastle's mind this is how it will go when that day comes when someone asks who's in charge:

Reminds me of the Dire Straits song, 'Solid Rock':
When you point your finger cos your plan fell through
You've got three more fingers, pointing back at you.
