I mean if tehre was any glimmer of this being the case, one pinch point seems to be the piracy. The PL seemed to say get it sorted, Saudi have said no. Saudi then doubled down, hoping the PL would nudge, both sides became further entrenched. So why would Saudi now, willingly stop pirating, having already said the economic position doesn't support a takeover? Keep going on about it though Goerdies, continuing to make complete idiots of yourselves.

There's nothing fro Ashley to consider. The Saudi's have pulled out, citing it's now economically unviable. I suspect the damage of the covid world (which will take years to recover) and anger at the PL have motivated this, as well as an unwillingess to bend on piracy rules. I suspect thats also part of the inviability they mention.

It doesn'treally matter what Ashley thinks, however given they've stayed up, I'd imaginehe will want to milk Newcastle more than ever now.

A good escape by Newcastle. The Saudi Arabian regime (Just like Citeh/Abu Dhabi) is not exactly 'non-corrupt' or have 'not got blood on their hands'.

Has he? I've not come across him? I've no doubt you will get a layer of them, who've gone so all in on this that they will flat our refuse to accept it won't happen. Like what do they think a few Geordies writing a letter is going to do? It's not suddenly going to make Newcastle a viable proposition again? Or fundamentally change the fact that everyone knows Staveley isn't the real owner, so the project is inviable. The PL have as good as stated they can't run a football club. Get with the program.

I havent actually watched more than a couple of minutes of them,mainly because Mr Belta appeared on one,but they were getting decent enough viewing figures from what I seen,as for future purchase,it took 17 weeks,over 3 months,obviously there was a lot of un answered questions,we both said there was a stench about a mega rich outfit,giving 20% of the club to Stavely and the Rueben brothers,as for claims of not wanting competition,the league is viewed wirld wide,Im sure they would welcome having Messi,Ronaldo,Mbappe etc turning out each week purely for the increased viewing figures

I'm just watching a podcast of that Steve Wraith guy, and 5 minutes in, it's just filled with complete nonsense.

One idiot is going on about how the only people who have followed the NDA's are the buyers. I'm sorry what? They've continually leeked information to the press about what they would or wouldn't do. The only people who have have been the PL, who have continued to say nothing on it, and been slaughtered by Newcastle fans for doing so.

They are also whining on about how they have been hung out to dry for being "positive" (ie delusional). Like it's all someone elses fault. They're taking no responsibiity at all. They choose to go all on it, lie to supporters (as it was a lie, they clearly had no inside track it would go ahead) and now they look silly get all funny about it.

Anyone could see, once the takeover took over a week, there are severe problems. We all knew there were multiple problems with this. They choose to ignore them to "keep the positivity". Sorry but if you ignore the warning signs, then the ineivtable happens, you don't get the chance to start having a pop at people who tried to tell you what was happening, by being honest about theevidence before them.

They're an absolute gang of spivs, who deserve to be screwed over now, in a way they haven't been to date, but could well be moving forward, for their pathetic conduct through this whole episode.

I said months ago, to the 2 Geordies on here, who were convinced it would imminently happen that City, Everton and Chelsea all happened in days if not hours. It was majorly fishy it was taking weeks (we never got to months) and they just patronised me for making such a comment. As usual they are blocked now, but neither of them would have the itegrity, or the decency to apologise, and acknowledge they got it wholly wrong, I called it correctly, and there was absolutely no foundation for their alleged sense of superiority.
