I do feel a bit sorry for them tbh in that it must be frustrating with the constant takeover talk and nothing ever happens, and any chance of another team that can/could break up the sky 6 can only be a good thing imo. What i don't get though is their clinging on to this, funds never appeared and Stavely was shown to be nothing more than a professional blagger so why on earth would they want them running the club, i don't see how it's any better than Ashley.

It's like us still clutching to some blagger in a bedsit in Didsbury in Manchester. Oh when he comes through with the money, the good times will roll.

At least we had the decency to know when we getting mugged off and slink off with our tails between our legs.

Thats it. I mean you didn't see us months/years after the takeover broke down getting petitions ready and convincing ourselves it could happen.

It feels painful to point it out, but there's not been a peep out of Staveley or Saudi once the PL said they had formally closed/rejected the offer. It's funny that isn't it?

I believe there's a saying ... "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." Maybe it should be extended to include actively wanting to be fooled and being made a laughing stock.

Yes, we say mock them endlessly, but we must also tip our cap to them from time to time. If we don't help each other, what are we doing at the end of the day
