Newcastle Utd (and Viz)

It's quite rare actually that one manager has managed both sides of a rivalry

Arry manged both Saints and Pompey

George Graham managed both Spurs and Arsenal

Samuel managed both Mags and Black Cats

Mourinho and Dave Sexton both managed Man United and Chelsea, but that's not much of a rivalry

Any obvious ones I'm missing?

He's also managed both Birmingham City and Aston Villa.

Do you have nothing better to do with your time fella?

We have missed the boat big time - the recent collapses of Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal and the arab royals sense opportunity to gatecrash the top 4/ CL Cash cow.

We're stuck with Walter Mitty and Kenwright whilst Newcastle and Leeds could be about to become the next Man City/PSG.

Depressing!
Shinawatra found City the Sheikhs despite being banged up by the authorities

Mike Ashley is hated by Newcastle fans yet found the Sheikhs

Meanwhile Big Blue Blood Best Evertonian in der land couldn't find a buyer unless they allowed him to stay on as chairman.

Couldn't make it up!
So did Newcastle and now they are about to be owned by Man Citys owners.

Meanwhile we sold to another Randy Lerner. What a time to be alive.
Some people cant see the woods from the trees.

We once were a top 6 club more often than not under Moyes - Man City took us out of it.

Newcastle likely to soon become another Man City - eventually they'll take us out of top 7.

What is our aim in a league where our highest realistic finish is 8th and gets you nowhere not even Europa?

Believe me fans will get bored over the years- Man City started the decline of English football and Newcastle may be the club to finish it. Fans will eventually get bored of the oil monied clubs dominating every year with the old monied clubs like Utd and Kopites still able to sign £60 millon players on 250k a week contracts whilst the rest of us fight for 40 points and the odd cup semi final.

In fairness you did ask for it.

Clough,Derby and Forest Coyle Bolton/Burnley
Bruce has managed both Sheffield clubs as well hasn’t he?
Terry Cooper, (The Leeds and England one) managed Bristol City and Bristol Rovers.
He's also managed both Birmingham City and Aston Villa.

Perhaps not all that rare though :coffee:
