I knew it would'nt take them long, I see they are already getting twitchy with Stavely over the fact that Bruce might still be in charge on Sunday.

They can spend unlimited on the stadium and training ground but any sponsorship has to be of fair market value. IE they can’t get a 500 million sponsorship for the toilets.i may be wrong - but i think infrastructure , such as stadium and training grounds is not FFP affected
whereas Megafon as our sleeve sponser has issues as it is a company closely linked to our owner giving us money
Sorry I don't think i've been particularly clear with my postings!
My voodoo comment was just a pithy remark about Moshiri
I meant a fuss in terms of - why weren't the media heralding our takeover as a massive step towards global domination when it happened?

Despot regime more likecountry
The call happened but not for the reason it says in the article, the clubs where told there would be no decision till after the court ruling in Jan, that was 3 or 4 days before they got taken overWhat an utterly weird article. Did any of this even remotely happen?
Rival clubs snub Newcastle and slam £305m Saudi takeover
There has been strong opposition by the likes of Man United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham, with one executive saying it all comes back to the 'green eyes monster' and 'self-interest'.www.dailymail.co.uk
No idea but I really don’t see how clubs like City, Chelsea and even us can claim to be opposing the takeover on moral grounds. It’s definitely going to make the top 4 a closed shop but what can you do? City, Chelsea and Utd are already in a different league in terms of what they can offer financially. What an utterly weird article. Did any of this even remotely happen?

I'd be happy if they gave us a bit of money to take Rodgers. Overall he's done a good job here but I reckon it's time for a freshen up of new ideas. It's all gone a bit stale. Think he'd jump at the chance as well
I suspect for Leicester your backroom set up and infrastructure are probably more important to keep / evolve.I'd be happy if they gave us a bit of money to take Rodgers. Overall he's done a good job here but I reckon it's time for a freshen up of new ideas. It's all gone a bit stale. Think he'd jump at the chance as well
But that isn't a fact. People keep pushing the argument that we've spent poorly and wasted money, but then it's a guarantee that Newcastle won't do the same?Another team going ahead of us should bother you as well. Plus their fans are already entitled gimps, imagine them in 5 years.
I agree, but aren't we part of the same multi-headed monster that is the Premier League? Russian oligarchs are hardly an example for our kids. We probably don't know half of what Usmanov has done back in the day...I agree. Genuinely, if this was Everton I would never watch them again. You can't compromise on some things. Most of you know that I live in Durham and I'm a Trade Union rep. I know many Newcastle fans, a lot of them also Trade Union officials. They are all ecstatic about this takeover. I'm shocked, appalled and so disappointed with them. Especially as a few years ago they were all up in arms about Paolo Di Canio being appointed manager of Sunderland because of his fascist views.
So very very shallow.
I think he'd be a tool to leave Leicester.
I know you've started quite sloppy this season but he's twice been a stones throw away from the CL, has been backed (as far as I can see) and doesn't seem to be put under any kind of massive pressure from the board.
On the whole, you play decent togger, have a decent set up, and your infrastructure and how you are run is how a lot of clubs should do it.
Newcastle are an absolute basket case of a club.
