I didn't mean it in a negative way towards Everton and Moshiri - I meant why wasn't there a huge fuss when we were taken over
Find it utterly bewildering that people are assuming that Newcastle have become some sort of footballing powerhouse overnight - football isn't the same as it was 20 years ago

Yeah it’s mad, some of the media are acting like there buying a fifa pro team in jan and winning the league. When in reality they be buying the same standard they could buy before with a few slightly better players on extreme wages. The PL the most competitive league in the world and getting in to the top 4 isn’t easy as Leicester have shown 2 years running.
They have so much ground work to do as well. Training ground awful, have 1 decent player the rest are championship

Moshiri is worth 2 billion - a lot but actually on the low end for PL owners
PIF are worth hundereds of billions and are the actual government of a major country

My voodoo comment was just a pithy remark about Moshiri
I meant a fuss in terms of - why weren't the media heralding our takeover as a massive step towards global domination when it happened?
Does it matter though? They can't spend anymore than we did

i may be wrong - but i think infrastructure , such as stadium and training grounds is not FFP affected
whereas Megafon as our sleeve sponser has issues as it is a company closely linked to our owner giving us money
