Newcastle managerial legend John Carver who once proclaimed himself "the best manager in the world" has come out in support of Steve, saying he's a Geordie, so that's good enough for me.

He's bound to get results (even if bad ones) and guarantee they're fighting for something right up to May (a possible relegation fight?)
