It’s pretty disappointing how many ‘left wing, socially liberal’ Newcastle fans I know who’ve taken to the new owners without a murmur. How can they claim to have any kind of principles anymore. Good to see there is a small pocket of fans doing something though, although they have little support among the fan base as proved by our resident fan on here who laughs at articles detailing Saudi killings.

Its just absolutely staggering that they've put themselves in this position. During a time when I thought we couldn't possibly be outdone in the horrific managerial appointments department they go from Bruce to Howe! This makes our Allardyce appointment from a few years back look shrewd!

He's comfortably a better manager then Howe.

Howe if it looks like him must be a massive downgrade to who they thought they would have, no doubt many will make out that they are happy with him, or they will have him for the year etc, but seen some also saying the last few days that they would rather have kept Bruce than have Howe lol

Doesn’t Howe try and play football? Going to be fun watching the cloggers they have try and do that.

How is he a fraud? He did an excellent job at Wolves but was miles out of his depths at Spurs. He's not been terrible or anything at most of his other jobs because unlike Howe he's actually had the guts to go different places. He's managed a second place finish with Porto and a fourth place finish with Valencia. I'm not pretending that he great or anything but he's not even close to being as crap as Howe is.

Howe is really not that bad...He is bad for us, granted. But he can easily land them 17th.
