Obviously not, but 340m for a Premier League club with a massive stadium, relatively small wage bill, and fanbase that is waiting to be energised with the departure of Ashley isn't exactly overpaying. Especially when you've got the PFI supposedly on your side.

It's the terms and conditions that aren't printed that is the issue.

I remember years ago someone agreed to pay for the club , like 100 million or something. The deal fell through because Ashley also demanded his money back after 12 months on top of the price.

Guys a tit , he will never sell that club unless someone does over value the club.
