The Saudi's will own 80%, 51% is enough to have full control. Stavely facilitated it and possibly wants a small piece of a huge future for herself, maybe it was her price for facilitating it?
She took a loan to finance her part but it's what she does all the time in multiple deals, its really common place.
Unless they somehow fail the very flexible fitting owners rule, (highly unlikely knowing how accommodating the premier league are to any shady or even far worse characters) - then this looks pretty much done to me.
It'll take time and go quiet for some time as there'll be no rush for it to be dealt with given the current situation, but it does look effectively a done deal to me.

Mate, this is what, the third/fourth time this season a takeover has rumoured to happen there, every previous time you’ve wet one over it when been told to mellow out and it’s proven to be a false dawn.
It doesn’t make a lick of sense that the outgoing owner is offering to loan money to a female led consortium to buy HIM out when the Saudi’s behind it can pay it like its chump change

give it another 10 years and this league will be ran entirely by Arabs,Russians and any foreign billionaire who wants a new toy to play with. For some that’s the best as it attracts the world’s best. For me The English prem needs to limit on everything, wages, spending all through the clubs like rugby union does.

I dont see this at all. Looks like (at best) these fellas are lurking in the background. They are 5 years behind most clubs. Even if it's all legit, nothing to worry about. I thought they were meant to win the league this year anyway?
