decent first half. amazing goal by ross and some great last ditch efforts on defense by coleman,mccarthy, etc. newcastle have looked dangerous though and we let them after too much of the ball for a period there. looking forward to the next half. COYB

They were appalling in the opening 10 minutes, when City probably could and should have wrapped up the points. Carrick crosses the ball into the penalty area from deep, where Welbeck chests it in the direction of Marouane Fellaini. The ball sits up nicely for the Belgian, whose weak effort is straight at Joe Hart.
