And to be fair, Newcastle had no clear cut opportunities whatsoever all night. They had two long range efforts that hit the woodwork, but that was it. We dominated in the air when they decided to go route one.

This is what Sky internet site says:
"Gome's cross from the right is brilliant, it bounces up in front of Solanke, comes off his arm and goes past Foster for what seems to be his first Liverpool goal...
All Liverpool players are celebrating, West Brom players are fuming, and it seems the assistant referee has overruled the decision!
It's rather harsh on Solanke, if that is being deemed as a deliberate handball!"

So it goes in off his arm. Obtained an advantage from a 'handball'. But let's ignore that, eh, it's the RS. We'll probably hear about that, together with all the whingeing, for the next 3 months.

"Hands up, who here believes it was a handball? Oh... all of you? I see... Okay.. I must be wrong then"

Thank you very much.

That is one ugly win, but it is a win, therefore I am happy! 3 more points! 18 more points to go to safety with 19 games remaining, 6 wins to get the job done! COYB’s!

After some of our games in October and November, I couldn’t see where our next points were going to come from, the last month in the league, aside from Southampton away, has been amazing

We'll get that pathetic "Ref Watch" on Sky Sports saying something like it was a horrible decision and the RS can feel hard done by.
