Glad to see Trevor Steven tweeting and getting involved a bit in the old throwback videos and stories. He was my favourite player at that time, and now when I look back I can't believe he was only 22- 25 y o when he was with us. Seemed much more mature as a player. You`ve got to hope that he stays in footy in some capacity.
Top lad, never gave less than 100% for every club he played for and if he hadn`t played that way, he wouldn`t have ended up with the injuries that he did.
He`d have gone on to be a legend here, in the mold of Andy Gray, if he hadn`t killed his knees early on in his career.
Young James will always be well remembered at Everton.
