Yep, feisty character with real quality on the ball. I actually backed Coventry to win that title at 28-1, so I watched them a bit last season & he was a stand out. There were quite a few better teams being linked with him but he went back to Bristol & has been released for whatever reason.
...not sure if we can refer to Walcott as an ex-player, but he’s just scored for Southampton.

I find this latest story about Ross Barkley to be somewhat sad. Not sure if he's too drunk to stand or been given a slap:Ross Barkley had been drinking heavily with a pal in The May Fair Hotel in central London.
“Ross Barkley was wasted. I first spotted him arguing with someone before it really kicked off. Ross was politely told to leave. But they came back, stumbling around packed tables and really slurring.
“Then the security staff spotted him and they were escorted into the main foyer.
“It got heated. They were arguing. It almost got physical, with the bouncer just pushing them out of the way.
Some taxis then refused to take him because he was so p*. It was embarrassing.
“It was shocking that a professional sportsman and England star could behave in this way in public. Young fans look up to players like him, and it’s really not on to behave in such a disgraceful way.”
...remember him playing for England U21 v Portugal at Goodison. I think Christiano Ronaldo, Jeffers and Joey Barton played in that game.
