This is a crap mockney-cockney rhyming slang reference to 'having a mare'. Anyway, pertinent to this thread because of who gets mentioned. Lionel used to star in 'give us a scooby', and would have made a better manager than the other chap alluded to.

He played about 18-20 games for Dunkerque in the second half of last season. They looked doomed before he arrived and then went on a really good run. Obviously less demanding than ligue 1 so let's see how he does.
