Personally, the club has made the correct call: we’ve supported him and offered chances during a difficult period, but it’s time to move on.

What has happened here - how many of our players end up at West brom at some stage or other..
A mate of mine is a big West Brom fan and he said he's been genuinely awful there, just looked out of his depth completely. Early days obviously but I think we got the better end of that particular PSR swindle.
Agreed mate, I think we gave him every chance and support to get back if he could, given that I don’t think he will.

Always a bit sad when you see that sharp decline in a previously promising talent. Assume they’ll maybe try him out a tier or two lower in Jan and see if they get a tune out of him there. Good luck to the boy.

Long overdue that we chased Dele. I'm all for helping out people who are down on their luck and genuinely want to get better, but within reason and not to the detriment of others. Had we offered him any sort of playing deal it would have been pathetic.
People forget what a disgrace he was in that pre-season under Lampard before he went to Besiktas. Literally just walking around the pitch because he couldn't be bothered. Even a backwater league like Turkey refused to suffer him.
Hope he finds happiness again in his life but he should consider his bridges here forever burned.
