We've literally seen Simms play for us in the PL and not shown anything outside of one goal vs Chelsea?

I would love an average striker up front for us these days. Imagine how many he’d score.
They would score none.
Strikers need chances to be created for them to score...we don't create chances.
It is the lack of creativity in midfield more than anything that is crippling this team

The wide options aren't really options as though they work hard don't have any pace, there's No help from LB and RB, and we've now been reduced to lobbing Gomes in to slouch around and try to be the brain that carries the side offensively. Onana doesn't seem overly concerned, Doucoure seems miles off the wavelength, and suddenly the only midfielder close to any sort of specialist for his role is Gana.
What is amazing is Robinson at Fulham and Nkounkou at Frankfurt. We've had players in with a bit about them, not least pace and sold em on. Fought tooth and nail for Danjouma and not used him. Sold Simms and got a so-so Beto in instead, Dobbin seems out of favour and Chermiti gets 60-90 seconds here n there.
Crud on a stick percentage pump ball football, all sweat and no guile. We've fallen a long way.

This made me laugh.
All this "I didn't get to say goodbye" from ex-players, no matter who they are, is really embarrassing. They've been paid millions year on year to kick a ball around, that's enough thanks if you ask me.
If they want to have a private moment with the staff, then ask the club if you can come into the training ground one day during the summer and say your thank yous in person, surely they'd say yes to that. Instead so many choose to the media and start whining. Cringe.
