Oh yeah, definitely, i agree, I was just making the point that not every player Ancelotti fancied was in that top tier the way some would have you believe. He was a great goalscorer, but not the most complete player. Hence why I was saying about what certain players bring to the side. Ancelotti even tells a story in his book how people wanted him to play Gilardino in 2007 CL final, but he just had a feeling about Inzaghi. He was proved right of course.

288 goals in 623 games. Pretty good statistics. Even closer to 1 in 2 if you take off his first few seasons as a teenager.
