Next England Manager ?

Michael Keane anyone? Even if it means letting him go for a nominal fee, I couldn't stand in his way.

I know the FA offered him the job when he was at his peak but I can't help thinking it might be worth testing the water again. Alex Ferguson with Bobby Charlton as assistant, two hugely experienced and respected figures in world football.
I'd go for an experienced hand who knows how to win an international tournament. Sir Alf Ramsey with Clinton Baptiste taking the press conferences for him.

A Lampard/Gerrard combo for me. Both England stalwarts whose own coaching careers have produced mixed results. Maybe they'd do better on the international stage.

Lamps would be the guy up front, as it were, being a bit posher and articulate.

I don’t think the two of them can manage together

Carlo would be the best pick.

Pep bottles too many finals.

Klopp without the Kloppozade?

FA will want another yes man so it will almost certainly be Howe/Carsley

I think anyone who can get a real job (club) won't be interested. Howe would be foolish to leave Newcastle for the England job. It will likely be someone like Tuchel, who is a name but has truly had the most mediocre of results in club football.
