The one thing I agree with that he said, is to stop conceding goals first. Unfortunately thats what its coming to now. Walter Smith esque type tactics to pick up points here and there but with turgid football into the bargain. Season is a write off already. Its about survival now, no doubt about it.
Ps. I don't want Sam Allardyce either.

You wouldn't want to argue with Barton would you. He's like a dog with a bone. You can see why he's ended up in trouble/altercations if thats anything to go by. Clearly doesn't rate Unsworth or want him as manager of this great club for the reasons he gave. Not sure about Unsworth being ready myself to be honest, trouble is I don't know who is going to be the right fit either!

Unsworth is only in their temporary manager status - who ever gets the job till January with that aging back line will need a magic wand!

Allardyce will jump at anything that’s a sniff above his usual level. He knows he’s on the way out of football. He got his dream job and screwed up. He was dire at Newcastle. He’ll never manage a team like United, City, Arsenal. So he knows EFC is literally the best thing he’d be offered ever again. Hopefully the board don’t see this as the latest opportunity to paper over their massive deficiencies. They should be showing some foresight and long-termism. If Moshiri is so confident in his plan, even the risk of going down should not be an issue.

Exactly mate. Been saying it all season. Major gaffs in the transfer window. Not getting a striker in to 'replace' Lukaku masked the fact we had an OAP backline. Coming home to roost now.

Yes that quote when Lukaku left - the goals will have to be shared now via koeman as he then went on blowing another 45 million on the sig when we needed a striker!

This is my concern too. Through mis management we're stuck with this squad. The obvious thing now is to stop conceding first and foremost. But the personnel we have doesn't fill me with confidence we can do that. In what world did Koeman (and Walsh) think that Keane and Martina was enough to bolster an ageing backiline?? Outrageous thinking.
