The one thing I agree with that he said, is to stop conceding goals first. Unfortunately thats what its coming to now. Walter Smith esque type tactics to pick up points here and there but with turgid football into the bargain. Season is a write off already. Its about survival now, no doubt about it.I swear I'm done if this happens
Unsworth is only in their temporary manager status - who ever gets the job till January with that aging back line will need a magic wand! You wouldn't want to argue with Barton would you. He's like a dog with a bone. You can see why he's ended up in trouble/altercations if thats anything to go by. Clearly doesn't rate Unsworth or want him as manager of this great club for the reasons he gave. Not sure about Unsworth being ready myself to be honest, trouble is I don't know who is going to be the right fit either!
when he arrives ask him to wave a magic wand - and come up with a defence - oh is that what the Sunderland fans thought too?Bring him home, bring him home
he is young, he is young Davy Moyes
bring us hope, bring us joy
bring him home, bring us young Davy Moyes
EMBRACE it folks, it's happening.
Exactly mate. Been saying it all season. Major gaffs in the transfer window. Not getting a striker in to 'replace' Lukaku masked the fact we had an OAP backline. Coming home to roost now.Unsworth is only in their temporary manager status - who ever gets the job till January with that aging back line will need a magic wand!
£200k salary with a £5m bonus if he keeps us up.I suspect he's he's open to persuasion ££££££££££.
Back to basics with what look at our squad - no left back cover - two centre halfs past it etc no out and out goal scorer!Say what you like about Big Sam, but he knows how to keep a club up. Back to basics stuff, but you'll never doubt the commitment to the fight in a Big Sam team. I would not mind him coming in a steadying the ship
If top money is right he will come!I can't see allardayce wanting to come just to keep us up I just can't.
unsworth till the end of the season it is thenAncelotti has apparently said he won't be taking another job until the summer at the earliest, but hasn't ruled himself out of the Everton job completely. He wants 'a serious project'.
Yes that quote when Lukaku left - the goals will have to be shared now via koeman as he then went on blowing another 45 million on the sig when we needed a striker!Exactly mate. Been saying it all season. Major gaffs in the transfer window. Not getting a striker in to 'replace' Lukaku masked the fact we had an OAP backline. Coming home to roost now.
This is my concern too. Through mis management we're stuck with this squad. The obvious thing now is to stop conceding first and foremost. But the personnel we have doesn't fill me with confidence we can do that. In what world did Koeman (and Walsh) think that Keane and Martina was enough to bolster an ageing backiline?? Outrageous thinking.Back to basics with what look at our squad - no left back cover - two centre halfs past it etc no out and out goal scorer!
