From WRD1878,
"Meeting in Canary Wharf today by all accounts. Sam wanting 3 years, the board only willing to give 18 month contract. Allardyce wants to bring 15 members of his team, mainly sports science. The board are very worried about going down at the moment."
Thats a complete lie.

Thats a complete lie.

It is a lie. It went something like this:

"Meeting in Canary Wharf today by all accounts. Sam wanting 3 years, the board countering with a 7 year contract. Allardyce wants to bring 15 members of his team, mainly sports science whereas Everton deny this move as they've already sent Walsh on a Sports science NVQ level 2. The board are ecstatic that they are moving the club into the Jurassic age."

Give the guy what he wants.

A 3 year deal would cost us around £12,000,000. Relegation would cost us in excess of £100,000,000.

Picture this,

A December weekend (2018), the snow has fallen but the stadium has been deemed safe to play at. A sea of blue woolly hats and scarves. A wave of anticipation brought by an ocean of fans. The time is here, the time is now....

Everton v Barnsley.

Living the dream....

Have to say about all the names bandied about, I am at a bit of a loss as to who I would prefer. must say though do not see why we have to take on board all Sam's hangers on if we appoint him.

If he appoints Allardyce, all this stuff about mega stadiums, winning the title and long term plans goes out the window. It shows that Moshiri is only looking until the stadium is built.

Had Moshiri appointed Allardyce after sacking Koeman I would be questioning his ambition just as you are, but the disaster that is this season has completely changed the paradigm.

First and foremost, we need someone who can guarantee us Premier Lesgue survival.

That's all that matters right now.

Having said that, Big Sam has qualified for Europe more times than Martinez.
