Honestly we should curb our over heightened expectations of CL for a few years. After this Koeman debacle which has set us two steps back we need even more patience now. Examples of Man Utd not qualifying for CL for some years after SAF left to even RS not being able to land CL on consistent basis inspite having far superior teams is in front of us.

What we can hope is to eventually land a manager who will click for us in the long run. It may not be Dyche or Ancelotti but one may hope we will get to that manager (we don't know who he might be) in about 2-3 years time after having a merrygo round of managerial changes like Spurs did. From Jol to Juande Ramos to Rednkapp to Villas Boas and then they finally landed Pochettino who has developed them on all facets.

I don't want us to change that many managers as we still have a new stadium to come and probably will struggle to adapt at our new home (like West Ham and Spurs) and even struggle with transfers then like Arsenal did. What we need is a footballing model which allows us to add decent players which are not world class and build a team comprising of quality youngsters like Lookman, Vlasic, Onyekuru, Davies etc.

Anyone that’s thinks dyche or allardyce are best option need their head examined. The disintegration of this squad is widely over stated and a couple of wins will get thins back on track. Sure we need a striker and another centre back in order to push up to towards top 6 but hiring either of those two would mean that we’d need a lot more than a couple of players by the end of the season.

New long term manager in now, strengthen the key areas in Jan, consolidate for this season and drive on next year.

lol we're not even a top 7 club anymore mate some people's perception of us really is so wrong. He will stay there and promote them and that's that
We're 10 games into a 38 game season. Positions change on a weekly basis.

You don't know what he will want. The fact that his agent is listening to the offer suggests that there is interest in the position, and why wouldn't there be? As I said, we're one of the top jobs to take in the country.
