What credibilty is that ? Nowt won in 22 years due to a small club mentality in almost everything.....nothing has changed has it? Your initial observations regarding Moshiri may well be correct ..no one at the top of the club seems to know who is making the decisions and its very worrying. I would prefer a long term forward looking manager rather than a firef
Credibility in terms of the hard fought for 'best of the rest' mantle.

We're a few points off mid-table. It is very early to be writing off the possibility that we can start our journey back under a new long term manager.

The season is over from a competitive success angle; it need not be over in terms of making the right choice to see us roaring back next season under a manager who has a vision and a method and a long term commitment to us.
Good post that Dave.

The next appointee will be a very good indicator of how it’s going to be at Everton until Bramley Moore is up and running.

I'd be targeting a 9th-12th place finish this season. We do lack a goal scorer which will limit us 'till at least January.

More importantly we should have as an ambition a new manager who can in the second half of the season roll out a style of play and settled formation that we can envisage taking us onward and upward next season.

Possibly Silva is the answer because I cant see someone like Tuchel accepting this mess right now. Dyche would send us back to the Moyes period.

I'm doing an article on this now mate. They have backed themselves into an awful corner really.

I'd go Allardyce till the end of the season and in the mean time try and negotiate a 18/19 season start for Fonseca. Another good win for Shakhtar the other night, they're looking good to get out of their group at Napoli's expense.

I think Moshiri looks back on Kenwright's era in charge with the steady finishes under Moyes and would be over the moon with that.

I reckon we can kiss goodbye to anymore "superstar" managers...mind you, if they're anything like the last divvy that may not be a bad thing.

Main thing was we ditched Koeman. Who ever our new manager might be evertonians must get behind him. I believe we will get best candidate for us a.k.a "the right fit"
