Sam Allardyce however unpalatable is surely the only realistic option now. We can't score and concede for fun.
Even though Dyche has done a solid job at Burnley that's only one club and he's been relegated.
Sam has saved club after club and never went down. He knows what he's doing. That's why he got the England job.
Time to swallow the pride and put aside the snobbery or we could be looking at a real chance of dropping out of the Prem, losing a fortune and any hope of a new stadium with it.

What a mess we have been left in. We are in serious trouble.

The only way any half decent manager even considers us is with the guarantee of significant funds to right the wrongs of the vastly significant sums that have been utterly thrown away by Koeman and Walsh.

In many ways it may be considered a poisioned chalice by any ambitious manager thus leading to a middle of the road journey man type a'la Sam and dyche. It's an utter mess and many more heads should've rolled in addition to Ronald. To build such a slow, one tempo side with no focal point is just utterly bewildering. Make no mistake we are in big trouble.

Why so aggressive?

He did well tonight until players let him down. At 65 mins that was a smash and grab waiting to happen.

Our defence are fine so long as they have 3 defensive midfielders in front of them. Once Gana went off, normal service is resumed. Had to go for it really, 1 point was no good to us but I do wonder if in the bigger scheme of things a clean sheet and not losing may have been more beneficial. We are terrible.

I thought I'll never say this but I think we might need big sam after all, very big chance that we're be going down this season.

You all realise we have this until at least January no matter who comes in don’t you? Could be even longer as the January signings will need time to gel

Airhead Moshiri will no doubt be on the blower right now begging that no mark from Wolves to 'come home to the Everton family' on a five year deal
