No need to be sorry mate. All opinions innit. I don’t think there’s a chance in hell the whole fan base will agree on whoever gets the job that’s for sure.

For me Allardyce saves clubs from the drop. So has to be an option right now.

Moyes relegated Sunderland dead recently.

Dyche. Well god knows.

But how these 3 are even options right now is absolutely insane.

At the start of the season you would take Koeman above all three of those options very comfortably and I was never a fan of his at all.

The self inflicted damage from the summer transfer window is mind boggling, Newcastle/West Ham levels of incompetence from all involved.

He was cut off at the knees at Sunderland and should have resigned once he realised he wasn't going to be given any money. He's still got a lot to offer, how could he not, he's still the same person who was excellent for us for ten years.

Im not sure he is and he wasn’t excellent for all those 10 years.
I’d honestly be devastated if he came back.

(Unless he sorted us. Then I’d be alright with it obviously).

I hate Allardyce and I hate the thought of relegation. If it’s him we go for it will be quick now you would think.

Whoever we get has a massive job on their hands. Moshiri has a huge decision to make and fast.

What has he ever done that makes people see him as a some sort of saviour ? He has been on the take throughout his managerial career so he is not going to change now.
He paid Liverpool £15 million for Carroll despite him being injured for most of his loan season don't tell me he didn't profit from that . He bought El Hadji Diouf twice the utter cretin that racially abused a ball boy at Goodison then turned it round by accusing us of throwing bananas at him. I would rather stick with Unsworth than employ that self obsessed lump of lard.
I personally would go for Dyche either now or at the end of the season. All managers are risky but to go for untried( in the prem) foreign manager is far to risky and to be honest how many have been successful in this country apart from at clubs with a huge bankroll.

He's also never been relegated and has taken [Poor language removed] like Bolton into Europe.

But he did sign diouf like....

Get a [Poor language removed] grip. I'd rather not have big Sam... but he's better than unsworth for a start

Why, I think he's one of the few people who would still be able to get a decent tune out of Baines and Jags

Jags and Baines are just a sad tribute act to the boss players they once were. Only tune we'll be getting from those two is opposition supporters screaming "Going down, going down..."

Yup.

We are stuck in a position where we want to show ambition with a ‘name’ but are in such a crap state that probably isn’t the right ambition to have right now.

To say you'd rather see us go down baffles me. I certainly don't agree.

The club needs the toxic elements, hangers on and borderline corruption cutting out of it mate, allardyce would add years and multiple added levels to that, and once he left we'd go down dragged by all the poison he left throughout the club.

Not one club has survived post him, and look at the collection of corrupt and inept owners who choose him over others.

He's the instant fix for an immediate situation but leaves long term damage which will take years to cleanse.

It's probably not but the thought of going down the Allardyce road is depressing to all involved because you know where it's heading.

At least with a more glamorous appointment you dare to dream about a trophy/some success even if the fear of relegation lingers.

I don't want Allardyce but if I had to pick between him and relegation, then I'm not picking to be relegated ffs

Didn't Pardew qualify for Europe once too?

It’s just so difficult. Sam has a record of keeping crap teams up. We’re much bigger than the teams he usually saves. Could he do it here?!

Then there’s the more glamorous ones. Say Tuchel for example. Absolutely no track record over here. Could go either way. But because it’s Everton we could all have a fair stab at what way it will go.

I think therein lies the rub, if we go for Sam, then to some it will be acceptance of mediocrity. If we go for Tuchel, its an interesting move which some will laud but there is no guarantee of how he will adapt.

Its a big statement they are about to make with this appointment.
