I like the look of silva. But judging by his comments last week, he didn't sound like a man who was desperate to join us (surprisingly really as I only think he's on a yearly rolling contract at Watford). Dyche on the other hand has done nothing to distance himself from the job. Somehow I think it will be Dyche we turn to.
I do too. It seems the obvious step now.

It's the doomsday scenario.

I cant see it happening, tbh. The men in charge really would have taken leave of their senses if they believe down that route lies our salvation.
Hope you'er right, Dave. Allardyce is the panic option, and if our learned board :dodgy: are anything like some of the people losing their urine on this forum, then we are at already at defcon 1.

He appears to squeeze something from nothing, which is what we require at the minute.

I dont know much about him, tbh. I just dont get the shouts for Allardyce.

And Sam doesn't/hasn't? Impossible job at Palace and kept them up. Same with Sunderland.

It's as though Silva is the new Jose Mourinho based on being manager for about 5 years and 5 different clubs.

The worst bit of his demands for me, were the 10-15 members of his own staff he wanted to get jobs for.

I could kind of live with him wanting a big wage, wanting a bonus for keeping us up and even him wanting us for 3 years. I understand it must be frustrating to be seen as the guy who does the hard work to let another manager benefit from it. However demanding up to 15 members of your backroom team get pay days out of it as well is just a step too far for me. Any decent and moral person would look at the backroom team at Everton, fella's like Unsworth and Joe Royle and respect the role they've had in the game, and not make it conditional on them to have to leave for you go get your huge salary, your 3 year deal and your bonus. I think that says everything about the man.

Not having a go, but where's the stuff coming from that he wants to bring his roadies with him ?.

Surely no club would ever agree to this, as it'd mean restructuring the day to day stuff almost from scratch.

I cant imagine for one minute that this would be a harmonious process.

Unsy was a temporary position- will Dyche consider us in our position now?
7 th in the Prem ?
Anyone who gets that job has a hard task with that squad if Unsy can win our next game who knows ?

I would have Tuchel all day but haven’t seen anything credible linking him to us.

Perhaps tonight will cause Moshiri to break the bank for him but even then, as we have learned often enough, it isn’t as simple as “throwing” money at someone.

Shocking with the money we do seem to be offering that our shortlist is so limited.

I’m not convinced at all by Dyche if he gets the job it seems by default.

Allardyce is what he is. If there is someone better and willing to take us on, I’d love to know who that person is.
I bet big Sam would cost a lot more than tuchel to hire and I dread to think of the short term players allardyce will bring in

I agree it will be Dyche. There will be enough misgivings in the boardroom to prevent Allardyce getting it.

Takes us right back to when Moyes got the job and I wondered if he would be good enough.

I find him very underwhelming and not half enough of a CV to merit the job but desperate times and all.

At least it’s November and not March. I’ll get behind him 100% if appointed, I expect him to be here by this time next week.

We really need to come together and unite, and fight. I absolutely hate this.

Allardyce isn't the only one who can get us to safety. I refuse to believe that's what we're staring at here. A result against Watford to steady the nerves and Barkley back on the pitch after the break and these Allardyce calls will start to look like madness.

Dyche would crawl over hot coals and swim through piss for this job Joey.

Problem is this job is 10,000 bigger than anything he's ever done before and I don't think he's good enough for us.

If Dyche doesn't jump at the opportunity then he's a fool. Give it another season and Burnley could easily be in our position, take a look at Bournemouth.

2 wins mate and top 10.

I'm pretty sure about 6 if us on here could get these players stop taking the piss and get the couple of wins needed

Dyche, allardyce, unsworth?

man I hate Everton. Bunch of tosspots bleeding us dry every week. My son said tonight that at least if we got relegated he'd have some chance of seeing us win a trophy over the next few years. What an affliction it is supporting this club.
