Appointing Allardyce would be a final act which imo would kill the future of this club mate, if as suggested Walsh is,wanting him as well, for mectgat should signal then end of him at this club, fat sam us corrrupt anyone in football trying to get him here is either blind or of dubious character themselves

We need to offer Tuchel whatever he wants, root and branch control over signings in and out and moshiri needs to stand up and clear all the poison out this club, from CEO and chairman's influence, to playing staff who regard us as a gravy train.

To give allardyce control, will see this club on its knees within two years, and for me at least will prove either kenwrigth is still in charge or moshir is weak/in bed with the way they want the club to be ran.

I've got an article due out imminently mate tackling this.

I think any appointment of Allardcye will cause damage or even destroy many illusions people have in Farhad.

So surely moshiri won't do it if it's his choice ? And it's all kenwright he's really getting on my nerves how much he's holding us back and this is an example why! ( if this type of manager is appointed )

Not that they would care but I wouldn't be stepping a foot inside GP if he is manager.

Think the main thing is sorting out the squad in Jan, clearly we need a CF, CB and LB. Get those and any semi competent manager will keep us up.

Now isn't the time to panic for me, get the right man in.

Heres a list of the people who hired/tried to Allardyce, just think it makes curious reading

Man City - offered Allardyce the job (Lee, Bernstein and Wardle) - it was withdrawn though as the club was sold just before his appointment could be confirmed to Shinawatra

Hired by Newcastle (Sir John Hall) - Mike Ashley took over 16 days later after buying out Hall.

Hired by Blackburn - club was sold to the Venky family 2 years later (club was already up for sale when he took over btw)

West Ham - hired by Gold and Sullivan a year after their takeover - strong rumours they are gonna sell if they can get a buyer

Sunderland - Hired by Ellis Short - club was put up for sale effectively during the same season he was hired.

England - Hired by the FA - who are currently under a lot of scrutiny for corrupt practices

Crystal Palace - Hired by Steve Parish last year and who has recently denied rumours he is trying to sell the club - although evidence mounts he is trying to do so

If Moshiri adds his name to that list - then i think we can all pretty much assume what he is and what his intentions are for this club

Allardyce is hired by owners who are getting ready to sell their club in order to temporarily keep the price up - none of the ones hiring cared about the long term future for the club - but all about protecting short term the share price, West Ham btw where when they hired Allardyce in the negotiation process about obtaining the London Stadium - so short term survival in the league was of paramount importance over any long term strategy

Allardyce isn't the only one who can get us to safety. I refuse to believe that's what we're staring at here. A result against Watford to steady the nerves and Barkley back on the pitch after the break and these Allardyce calls will start to look like madness.

Well if Silva is "the man" we won't get a result against Watford.

Ross wont play for us again.

Koeman has assembled a ragtag unbalanced team that cant score goals and now can't stop letting them in.

We need an honest manager who's gonna see that this side isn't one of "potential" that needs unlocking, it's a very bad side missing a lot to make a good team.

I think your Tuchel's etc are just what we don't need right now.

I really hope so D man.

So your saying we need a fat Sam type? But once were safe it's starting all over again costing more money again. Just get in who moshiri wants now and not address it in the summer

Tin hat stuff this mate. Isn't more of a case the new owners didnt like him.

Man City - New owner wanted Hughes.

Newcastle - Last a season, fans hated him, new owner got on the fans side as hed just took over.

Blackburn - saved from Paul Ince. Following season got them midtable and a cup semi. New owners came in, didn't like his brand of football, got rid.

Palace/Sunderland - brought in to save the clubs. Owners are still there. Additionally these are owners that are serial offenders of sacking managers.

We need someone who's been in this position and knows what he's doing and what he's got.

Anyone else will be a gamble IMO especially if said manager has a Koeman esque ego who things we can play football. Even Unsworth thinks we can play football.

We can't. We don't have the intelligence.

Agreed. The rumours that he'd want 10 of his own team in smacks of nepotism at the least, plus it would make redundant the heart of what is everton , big Duncan, unsy et al.

No thanks.
