I'm hoping that Steve Walsh has nothing to do with the appointment. It is in his best interests to, as he would nominate a manager he feels he can work with, as opposed to a manager who is the best available to and suited to the job.

I know he's not fat Sam mate but in ( my opinion) he's just flavour of the month and it's risky to think he can do it here other than what finish 12th lol sigh!

If you were firmly bottom three and it was xmas then fat Sam might be good idea. As it is you are pretty much mid-table and some decent results over the next three weeks and it would be back to pushing top 6-8.
Not really time to panic and appoint the relegation avoidance specialist just yet IMHO.

Likewise today, we're 15th now and not far off where we should be due to the money spent, theres absolutely no need for a Dyche or an Allardyce appointment.
