Blanc's success is hard to ignore. Tuchel has a decent track record, too, but honestly, both of these guys ticked some people off.

I still thought as of a couple weeks ago that Ronnie was fine, but I CANNOT believe this guy isn't making adjustments that seem so obvious to most and can't imagine Blanc or Tuchel wouldn't do a better job.

We have a very good young squad, Tuchel would be perfect. We are also a bigger club than Leicester and his ceiling is higher here. If we can get a win against Lyon and Chelsea and end up witH Tuchel that would be great, as we could have a stab at the Europa League under his guidance. What do you make of Silva at Watford?
I think he's done ok in the PL in the short time he's been here. I like what he does with the CM duo at Watford and how dynamic they are. And he plays Cleverley (I think) just ahead of them directing traffic. That said, it's hard to tell really. He could be the next Pochettino or the next Phil Brown!

Don't think he is overrated tbh mate

Won the league twice with Valencia (which is at least as good a feat as Klopp winning the German league with Dortmund, similarly both reached aCL final with those teams i believe - so very comparable statistics

Gained something like 3 promotions - 2 in Spain and one with Newcastle - in Spain with utter minnows as well.

Won a CL with that lot - given the team they had as good a feat as Mourinho winning it with Porto in reality, won 2 Europa Leagues - with Chelsea and Valencia, and a few domestic cups as well.

Not many mangers with those types of trophies won - none with what you'd call the biggest of teams either.

Yes thats fair. There is pre Liverpool Benitez and post Liverpool Benitez.

He got very lucky to win the CL with Liverpool but probably quite unlucky not to win the league. That being said, towards the end he started spending huge sums of money on ordinary players, and picked a fight with the owners to distort the narratives which the KKKult took hook line and sinker.

After that, all I have seen is a manager who has gone to European Champions Inter and left them mid table. Went to European Champions Madrid and left them getting annihilated by Barca. Went to Chelsea and became the first manager post Roman to finish outside the top 4. Went to Newcastle and took them from being out of the relegation zone to being relegated. It's pretty ordinary.

Most Kopites go on about him as if he's in the same league as Mourinho, Guardiola et al. He's not for me. He's a similar level to Koeman, Pochetino, Emery etc, guys a level below the elite managers.

That being said he is very strong tactically and get win set piece games very well. I think he'd be completely the wrong choice for where we look to be going re Walsh, Moshiri and youth investment. If a certain Russian came on board and started lashing money about though I could see him being a potential Mancinish type of fit and work quite well for us. The ex Liverpool thing really doesn't bother me, in fact it's a major attraction. If he won a trophy with us before Klopp won anything with Liverpool it would lead to massive splits in the reds which would be absolute hilarity.

How do you reckon that Joe? I do think that he has to go but I do not 1) trust Kenwrong to make the right appointment to replace him 2) Think that unsworth is the answer (as a future manager Yes) . Please dont accuse me about being RK's biggest fan ..You know F..all about me
You seem to be very defensive about him - or you sit on the fence, I know F... A about you!
Other than you are a blue , and that will do for me!
