I believe koeman is pretty much stuck in this mindset of making it work and it's the players fault when it doesn't. This isn't going to change any time soon and we are going to be hoping the quality of the players get us the points to at least help us limp along rather than genuinely looking like a team who wants to win.

My other thought to be honest is with a squad that has captains littered about now and some with winning mentality, why does the team have no passion or fire in it? I genuinely don't know the answer to that to be honest, but there has to be something that has stopped all these leaders dragging the team through each game and not letting heads drop. If we had that mentality Thursday then we wouldn't be as pessimistic as we are now
Fair assessment and cracking point about the supposed array of leaders we have. I see none of them right now.

To show how far we haven’t moved forward with all that money: we’re missing Jagielka and it’s 2017.

That is a very succinct and accurate review of our board

He's in no immediate danger of being given the boot. Probably be down in London for talks early next week but he's moshiri's man, like Martinez was Kenwright's.

Hopefully, sense comes before pride and if he doesn't turn it around or can't inspire confidence in them that he's going to turn it around, he goes.

talksport say meeting tonight gone tomorrow

if only they didnt make everything up. id be over the moon. right at the start of two weeks badly needed holidays too

You think Koeman will win us the premier league in say 5 season, he wouldn't win us it in 50 seasons.

The only thing I do know is that he deffo won't be manager in 50 seasons time.

Will he get things right?

If we knew the answer to that for sure we probably wouldn't need these forums in order to vent...

Didn't think Talksport would be in the business of making up gear about us after Barton got stuff badly wrong the other day.

Although, I can see it now; 8:45 tomorrow morning - Jim White tweets: "Farhad Moshiri is meeting with Ronald Koeman TODAY to discuss his future at @everton. @Talksport from 10"

And then nothing happens from the meeting whatsoever; just shows Mosh pics of St Andrews golf course instead.

Clueless, fraud, arrogant. The same language used as with Martinez.

Is it them or is it us?
Them.

Results can lie, performances don't.

It's crap and equally as bad as with Martinez, we waited 20 months too long with him. Why repeat the trick?

At least under Moyes we battled back with spirit in time of lesser quality.

We shouldn’t rose glass Moyes when he had periods equally as bad or worse than this right up until Christmas and survived. It’s the 1st October today mate.

I agree. He had many a bad start, but often when we hit the depths we would bounce back. No sign at the moment.

*exits debate before some dullard accuses me of wanting Moyes back.

Thing that makes me still not want Koeman gone is that he has recent history of getting his teams out of tail spins with us last season in autumn and before that with Southampton too. Suppose Feyenoord too but that’s a different kettle of fish to Premier League.
