Go get in the bin mate lolI understand nerves are frayed but I’m just passing on the info, mate.
All this hand-wringing and demanding from fans that someone be appointed in the next week will not change the timing, which was agreed weeks ago. Hence the radio silence from all parties.

To humour the suggestion of Simeone (because I'm bored & procrastinating in work) here are some points that suggest the likelihood for and against:
For:
- It's taken Moshiri et al 6 weeks now to appoint a permanent manager - why so long? Suggests careful due diligence? a big name in the frame? No one really knows for sure.
- The link first came up a few weeks ago and wasn't dismissed out of hand. Simeone only refused to be drawn on it, if anything.
- Moshiri himself suggested he is a big fan.
- They've picked up recently but prior to a few weeks ago Athletico weren't pulling up many trees in La Liga, so perhaps their board are/were beginning to think a 'freshen up' is due soon?
- Suggestions on Twitter last week that his 'people' have at least spoken to us.
- We'd be able to offer him the money he'd be after, you'd think.
- zandvoot blue reckons it's happening.
Against:
- He has a strong relationship with Athletico and has suggested that he won't want to break his contract - would he really leave in the middle of the season? If at all?
- Athletico are still firmly in the midst of their Champions League campaign with an important game against Chelsea coming up.
- He's 'too big' for us.
- Our current situation & position in the league would surely put him off.
- Our board would never be able to pull it off, surely?
