Getting Allardyce would mean for the first time we are actually accepting our current situation. I would immediately be less worried about relegation but equally it'd show the club has no ambition to challenge the big boys. I'd say a charlatan is more Elstone and Kenwright in that they've not put a penny into the club.

Moshiri has, and off the pitch commercially we've improved in that sense.

It's not like he didn't hand the management a huge transfer kitty.

But, his running of the club - or, more likely, his leaving of the running of the club to others - should be under scrutiny.
